PETER BLAKE - BABE RAINBOW Original enamel plaque . The very rare original metal plaque benefitted from a similar frame technique to the painting above, but was raised forward on an mdf backing, buffered with acid-free card and screwed into place.The screws holding the plaque in place were hand painted to mimic a degree of rust, in keeping with the plaque's visible aging.
